Working with a number of partners in the Stowmarket area we’re able to offer a programme of activities for people recently retired or transitioning into retirement, to ensure they stay physically active and socially content. If you’re interested in any of the activities below just use the contact information listed and get involved.
If you are aged 55 or over and would like to be more active, then the Kardio Kickstart Programme is ideal. Working as a group, with added support outside of the sessions, you will gradually increase your physical activity levels, finding out what works best for you, how to easily include it in your daily routine and how to achieve goals. There’s also refreshments and time to socialise.

If you’d like to give something back to your community and you could spare an hour or two at a local sports event, festival, family fun day or community event, then volunteering might just be the answer. It’s a great way to meet new people, keep you active both mentally and physically and it’s great for self esteem.
